This is a unique site in terms of having an underwater trail for divers and snorkellers to follow. Many trials were done to work out the best material and the trail is now formed from thick chain and concrete drums.

The chain deteriorates over time and is maintained by the Gordon's Bay Scuba Diving Club who use the motto - the call of the chain.

It is a fascinating area to model in 3D as there are steep slopes around the site and the chain forms a perfect traverse to use for reference purposes underwater.
